Another earthquake has happened in the area where the tsunami hit on boxing day

This is my way of saying, I'm sorry I couldn't help, and my way of saying, good luck on life, you can take mine, I feel you need it.

I would have helped if I could

No one knows how you can feel,
Unless they have been through the same.
What you have been through is real,
I only know what I have been told and seen.
You all need time to heal
From the tragedy you have had.
We all have our own idea of ideal,
But yours is to find food to live off for today.
Your experiences feel, to me, surreal,
But for you it's everyday.
So I end saying I'm sorry I couldn't help.
